This Privacy Policy explains how AI Forgefathers handles information when you visit this website, join the Forge List, click external links, or contact us.
Information you choose to provide
If you join the Forge List, the email address and other information you submit through the signup form are processed by our email-service provider, Kit, so we can deliver the emails you requested and manage the subscriber list. You can unsubscribe using the link included in marketing emails.
If you contact us by email, we may retain your message and contact information as needed to respond and maintain normal business records.
Affiliate and external links
Some links on AI Forgefathers are affiliate or referral links. When you click them, the destination website or affiliate platform may use cookies, tracking parameters, or similar technologies to attribute the referral and may process information under its own privacy policy. AI Forgefathers does not control the privacy practices of third-party websites.
Website hosting and technical data
Like most websites, our hosting and security providers may process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser or device information, request details, and security logs. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies
AI Forgefathers does not intentionally use advertising cookies on the site itself at this time. Embedded forms and websites you visit through external or affiliate links may use their own cookies or similar technologies. If our use of analytics, advertising, or other tracking technologies changes, this policy will be updated.
Data choices
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. For privacy questions or requests concerning information held directly by AI Forgefathers, use our contact page. Requests involving information held by a third-party service may also need to be directed to that provider.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site and its services change. The date above shows the most recent revision.
Purchases and download emails
Stripe processes checkout and payment information. Completed checkout details, including the customer email address and purchased product, are sent to our Cloudflare delivery service. Resend processes that email address and the download message to provide purchase delivery. Our website does not receive your full payment-card number.
Site analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page visits and site performance. This analytics service does not use analytics cookies. Cloudflare also hosts and protects the website and may process technical request data for those purposes.
Campaign and funnel measurement
We count selected landing-page views, book-preview views, guide opens/download clicks and checkout-link clicks by day, page category and broad source/campaign category. These are event counts, not unique people or confirmed purchases. We do not store your email, full browsing URL or a visitor identifier in these counts, and this measurement does not use cookies or browser storage. Aggregated counts older than 90 days are removed when subsequent events are processed.
A keyed hash of the request IP changes daily and is used only to limit event spam. We do not store the raw IP in this measurement table; old daily hashes are removed on subsequent event processing. Our hosting provider may separately process technical request data.
Broad source/campaign labels can travel in website links and into Stripe checkout as a non-personal reference. We reconcile completed payments with Stripe records; a click or download page is not proof of purchase. The website measurement script honors Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control when exposed by the browser. Kit separately processes signup confirmations and email engagement under its own practices.
Ask the Forge questions
When you submit a question, we store the question, optional topic and context, optional email address, and your publishing preference in a private Cloudflare-hosted database. We use this information to review questions and respond where possible. Submitting a question does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
We publish an edited, anonymous question and our answer only when you have opted in and we have approved it. We do not publish your email address or automatically publish your submission. Please leave out sensitive or confidential information. To request access, a correction, removal, or withdrawal of publishing permission, contact contact@aiforgefathers.com and include your submission reference if available.
To limit spam, the form temporarily stores a daily, keyed hash derived from your IP address and a submission count. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the questions database. Old daily limit records are cleared when later submissions arrive; the hosting provider may separately process technical request information to operate and protect the site.
Secure book delivery
We keep the Stripe checkout reference, purchased book, payment reference, grant expiry, delivery status and paid timestamp in a private Cloudflare database to confirm access and support replacement links. This access record does not store your card number, email address or raw IP. Stripe and our email provider separately process your payment and delivery details as described above.
Personal download links expire after 90 days and should not be shared. We count authorized and blocked download requests by day, book and request method for access protection. These are request counts, not unique people or proof that a complete file was saved. We store no visitor identifier in these counters; aggregate counts older than 90 days are removed when later download requests are processed. Download pages use no-referrer and no-store responses. Contact us with your purchase email and receipt reference if you need a replacement link.
