Forge Score Methodology
Standard Forge Scores use six weighted categories: Output Quality 25%, Ease of Use 15%, Features 15%, Value 20%, Reliability 15%, and Support & Experience 10%. Some reviews use a clearly labeled editorial rating based on custom criteria; those ratings are outside the standard Forge Score model and are not directly comparable.
Reviews identify whether they are based on research or hands-on testing. Evidence Confidence (HIGH, MEDIUM, or LOW) reflects the amount, quality, diversity, and freshness of the available evidence; it does not mean that a product was hands-on tested. We distinguish primary product facts, large review datasets, community evidence, and individual anecdotes rather than treating every source equally.
Affiliate payout is never a scoring factor. Scores are shown to one decimal place to avoid fake precision.
